Distilling Creativity

LOCAL DISTILLERY OWNERS TO DISCUSS BUILDING AND MARKETING BRANDS DURING PANEL DISCUSSION

Flashback to five years ago. There was not one craft distillery in the region.

Fast forward to today. There’s three thriving local distilleries and more are likely on the way. How have these businesses been able to have such early success? That’s what we’ll attempt to answer next month.

Area distillery owners will discuss the marketing and branding strategies that went into creating and sustaining their businesses during a special panel presentation.

The presentation, “Distilling Creativity: A Spirited Discussion,” takes place Monday, March 19, at Room 33, 1033 State St., Erie. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. with the panel presentation to follow at 5:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Northwestern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Panelists include Mario Mazza, VP and General Manager of Five & 20 Spirits & Brewing; Johnny Fetzner and Jessica Lemmon Fetzner, co-owners of Cart/Horse Distilling; and Joel Normand and Maria DiSanza, co-owners of Luminary Distillery.

Cost to attend the event, which includes light hor d’oeuvres and sample tastings from the distilleries in attendance, is $15 for PRSA members or students and $25 for non-members. Attendees can register for the presentation by filling out this form.
