Please join The Nonprofit Partnership and The Northwestern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for a new, three-part panel series: Crisis Communications: Planning for, Managing, and Recovering from Crisis.

Sorry, the Men in Black Neuralzyer (their handy-dandy little memory-erasing device) does not exist – that being said, professionals must prepare for, deal with, and recover from crisis when its disgraced hand knocks on our door.

Panel 1: The Power is in the Planning – Preparing for Crisis
Instead of hiding from crisis and hoping good karma is on our side, let’s prepare for the potential black cloud of bad luck. No one has a crystal ball, but we can at least do our homework and invest in some armor.

Our panelists include:
– Karen Kraus Phillips – Vice President / Digital Marketing & Infrastructure with Erie Insurance
– Ed Stevens – Chairman and CEO with Stevens Strategic Communications
– Dr. Melissa Gibson – Professor, Communication, Journalism & Media Dept. | Graduate Program Head, Master of Arts in Communication Studies Program – Edinboro University
– Tammy Roche – Vice President, Membership, Marketing and Financial Development with YMCA of Greater Erie

What you can expect:
– Anecdotes from the experts: years in the field are bound to leave you with stories and takeaways!
– Tips for preparing your organization for the dreaded worst case scenario
– A crisis communication plan checklist
– Actionable tips to take back to the office
