Join us as we welcome Mike Karns, Erie native and Founder/CEO of Marathon Digital on July 9 at 9am. Karns is a Tony Award-winning theater producer and entrepreneur, most recently participating on the production team of 2019 Best Musical Winner Hadestown.

Mike is thrilled to be coming back to his hometown to present on best practices for managing social media when you’re spread too thin. Many marketing and PR professionals these days have countless responsibilities and it can be difficult to manage it all effectively.

Mike’s company, Marathon Digital, represents influencers and revolutionary brands on Broadway and beyond, including Tony-winning and world renowned musical, Hamilton. During his early years, he played a key role in the meteoric resurgence of George Takei, who today is frequently referred to as one of the most popular personalities on social media. Mike’s work has been featured in Forbes, Wired Magazine, and Newsday.

As a producer, he has been represented on Broadway productions of The Great Comet (Co-Producer) and Allegiance (Co-Producer), with strategic investments in The Cher Show, Mean Girls, It’s Only a Play, and Kinky Boots.
